Woodworkers Shop is one of the largest dealers of hardwood products and woodworking tools in Downstate Illinois. We have hundreds of thousands of board feet of hardwoods, a variety of plywoods, and thousands of square feet of woodworking tools and accessories. From the dream you have to build it to the tools, accessories, materials and information you need to complete it, Woodworkers Shop has it. Woodworkers Shop has its roots in the sawmill business. Louis Pescaglia, the grandfather of owner Rick Butler, literally got into the business by accident.
We will always cut to length so you can easily transport your material at no charge, but we're also able to do so much more for a minimal shop fee. You may need just a little help to complete a project or you're looking for someone to do the entire project. Please let us know how we can help you. There are times when a project requires boards to be glued edge to edge to make a wider panel. We can do table tops, shelves, countertops, etc in an wide array of widths and lengths. Woodworkers Shop has a large and ever-changing inventory of kiln dried and air dried live edge slabs in stock. Currently we have oak, ash, elm, cherry, and walnut in a variety of lengths, widths, and thicknesses. We offer slab flattening services as well as the ability to sand slabs up to 35 wide.
