In 1950, Jim Maybrier Sr. founded Maybrier Furniture in the same location we are today. Later in 1968, Maybrier Furniture was relocated to 2171 S. The business was taken over by Jim's other son, Bruce. It was renamed as Jim's Furniture. In 2014, Jim Jr. stepped aside, and his son Chris took over the day-to-day operations. Jim Jr. oversaw decisions made on the company's behalf, playing a significant role in the company. Their family knew that they would need to make a plan to expand and grow to compete with the ever-changing environment around them.
