In 1985, while serving as a young man in the United States Army in South Carolina, Bruce Gauntt hired on as a part-time flooring installation helper for nights and weekends. Learning the trade quickly, he soon established his own installation company. Upon discharge from active service, Bruce went full-time as a floor covering installation contractor, implementing his talent for the mechanics of installation while recognizing the significance that exemplary service has in maintaining the vendor / customer relationship.
