Tonda Sales was founded in 1989 by Russ Tonda following a 25 year career in both wholesale and retail sales of flooring. Our original location at 5815 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, is managed by Scott Tonda, and focuses on sales and installation of commercial flooring. Our newest location, which focuses on both residential and commercial flooring, opened in 2010, at 4409 Granite Drive, in Rocklin. With over 11,000 square feet of space in Sacramento, and 17,000 square feet of space in Rocklin, we stock residential and commercial broadloom carpets, commercial carpet tile, selected hardwood and laminate flooring, luxury vinyl tile, plank and sheet, commercial vinyl sheet and VCT, and a wide selection of carpet remnants from which to choose.
In addition to being a retail and wholesale flooring sales store, Tonda Sales is also a licensed, bonded and insured flooring contractor, and can provide installation services for all products we sell, including tear out and disposal of existing floor coverings and removal and reinstallation of wall base moldings and any trims needed to complete your job. We have hardwood flooring in both solid and engineered types, using cork, bamboo, and even some species of wood that even we didn't know existed until recently, in smooth, handscraped, and wire brushed appearance, with urethane or oil finishes or unfinished. Most hardwood flooring is available within a week of ordering, usually even sooner and we stock selected types. Laminate flooring is available in many different appearances like stone, ceramics and wood, and styles including smooth, wire brushed, handscraped and some with "in register" embossing of grout lines or wood graining which enhances the authenticity of their appearance.
We carry carpets in Wool, Polyester, and Nylon, in Saxony, Plush, Texture, Pattern, Frieze, Loop and Cut/Loop styles, solid colors, tone on tone, and flecked, in grades and at prices that will satisfy your requirements and budget. We stock carpets for those who need it fast, a wide selection of remnants and an even wider selection in our showrooms that we usually can get and install within 2 weeks time of being ordered.

Vinyl flooring isn't the same thing as Linoleum (we have both available), and boy has it come a long way. Manufacturers are taking stone, ceramic, wood and even stained concrete surfaces and replicating them in Luxury Vinyl Sheet, Plank and Tile. Dimensionally stable, long lasting surfaces, that can be used where laminates fear to tread, like kitchens, laundry rooms and bathrooms. Available in glue down, click together (like laminates), and loose lay types, vinyl is now do it yourself friendly, with a look that will knock your socks off.
Ceramic tile comes in two types: Porcelain and Non-Porcelain. The difference is their density. Both can be used in bathrooms, but only Porcelain Ceramic Tile - which is harder and denser - can be used outside in places where it can freeze. With appearances that look like stone, wood, or even fabric, Ceramic flooring can outlast all other types of flooring and wall coverings, even stained concrete.
