Since Stardust was founded in 1997, we've provided over 3,000 people every month with affordable, reclaimed building supplies. From large scale remodels to simple repairs and repurposing projects, we're proud to provide sustainable materials that get the job done. Our mission is to provide quality reclaimed materials for reuse. This mission is driven by our vision of a future without waste; a sustainable community where resources are reused or redistributed. For the past 20 years, we've rallied behind reducing landfill waste with a simple call to action: Starve the Landfill.

Stardust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We operate two reuse centers for home improvement which sell gently-used, salvaged, and surplus building materials at affordable prices. Additionally, we provide deconstruction services that salvage building materials, divert waste from landfills, and support sustainability in the community. Founded in 1997, Stardust was created when local philanthropist and co-founder Jerry Bisgrove was about to undertake a complete home remodeling project. The first step of the remodeling process was to remove everything from the home, essentially gutting the structure in preparation for a rebuild.

If you're planning to remodel your home or business, our deconstruction service is your green alternative to conventional demolition. Our skilled deconstruction team will carefully dismantle and remove building materials, appliances, fixtures, and architectural elements from the interior and/or exterior of residential and commercial buildings for reuse. As opposed to trashing your gently-used building materials during a remodel, donate them to Stardust instead. While demolition costs an average of $1,500 or more, our deconstruction service is provided for a nominal fee which helps offset our labor, liability and transportation costs.

We enjoy donating high quality, lightly used appliances and fixtures to StarDust, knowing that they will benefit the community
