Fishing Creek Farms started operation in 1986 as a wholesale producer of large plant material. Since then, we have evolved into a landscape design and installation company with emphasis on restoration of older landscapes. The owner is a North Carolina Registered Landscape Contractor (#1525). Whether a one-hour consultation, plans, or installation, we can accommodate the needs of our customer. We also offer a full range of containers or can prepare your container garden for you. Renee Anderson Long received her BS in Ornamental Horticulture from North Carolina State University in 1985.

Fishing Creek Farms offers a full range of landscape services from one hour consultations to garden design and installation. Whether you're interested in a plan to install yourself or you would like for us to install it for you, we're here to provide you with a landscape to fit your needs and taste. Low maintenance, non-invasive, winter interest, and historic designs and plantings are our preferred selections.

Using mostly local wholesale sources, I have access to almost any hardy plant in Eastern North Carolina. Although I do not keep a large quantity on site, I am usually able to have them here for pickup or delivery within a week (in season). I keep an assortment of ceramic, cast stone and iron containers on hand for use in planting container gardens for my clients and for retail sales. Container gardening is one of my specialties! I especially love to create winter containers. Matching container size and material to the larger garden and structures is an important part of designing gardens in containers.
