Ranchers Fencing & Landscaping is family owned and operated business. Whether a client needs a small repair or a major fence replacement, we treat the job as our #1 priority. Providing exceptional customer service is non-negotiable for us! Furthermore, we take pride in each final product that we complete; that's why we always attempt to do everything in-house instead of using outside contractors. As a dedicated Austin fence and landscaping company, our true focus is on the customer, and as members of Angie's List we continue to prove our commitment to excellent care and service.

Fences are a crucial part of any residence. They provide a tangible indicator of your property lines, security, peace of mind and increase the value of your home. New fence installations are an investment in your home and your security, which is why you want to hire a fencing company that is reliable and has a wealth of experience installing and repairing fences for homes in Austin. Our most common residential fencing request is for wood privacy fences. We only use high quality wood that is tried and tested to withstand intense summer heat and colder winter months of Austin.

Ranchers Fencing & Landscaping is the resource you've been looking for. In addition to building strong fences, we also install and repair gates for wood fences. Whether you need a walk gate, a garden access gate, or a gate allowing access into/from your backyard, we can provide the variety that will perfectly complement your fence. Choose from either western red cedar or pressure-treated wood for your wooden fence's gate. Gates are a simple, practical way to control access to your home, business, or yard.

In addition to repairing fences with the best materials and top-quality craftsmanship, we also install new fences. Ask us about new fencing today! Our wood fences are great for limiting visibility and keeping your property safe. We use thick pickets of pressure-treated wood for maximum sturdiness. This wood is resistant to insects and rot, which means that a Ranchers fence is built to stand the test of time. Also, this porous material traps air, minimizing drafts in winter and letting cool breezes through in summer.

Your fence serves a vital purpose for your home or business. It provides security, privacy, refinement, and a boundary for your property lines. When your fence gets damaged or broken, all of this is compromised. With our help, you won't be burdened by a weakened fence for long! We have some of the best technicians for fence repair services at our Austin fence company. Every fence suffers from wear and tear after a while. Severe storms are a common culprit, but sometimes accidents happen as well.

Throughout the year, maintenance schedules are created and planned according to the needs of specific properties. Once our customers determine if they are on a weekly or biweekly schedule, they can choose from our standard plan or premium plan. Over time, the buildup of thatch makes it hard for your turf to breathe. Aerating your turf removes some of the thatch buildup and reduces soil compaction. When aerating your turf, water can soak the soil and reach the root system better, helping to reduce diseases like brown patch.

It's not uncommon for business owners to seek out fences for the same reason homeowners do: they are an excellent source of security, privacy, and beauty for your property. A well-constructed fence provides an effective and economical way to provide security, control access to the property, segment different areas, and define site boundaries. If you're in the market for a new fence, Ranchers Fencing & Landscaping has the answer. We specialize in the installation and repair of wooden privacy fences for businesses in Austin and the surrounding areas.

We had Rancher's Landscaping Service servicing our lawn for a few years. They started off great and then the service totally went downhill. They had complete control of our property ... lawn mowing, bed cleaning, and fertilization.

Over the past year, the lawn started to look bad and I contacted them a few times about the issue. I also contacted them about some major landscaping I wanted done. He promised that he would come out on a specific day and take a look at the project I needed done. He never showed up. Never called. No follow-up whatsoever.

They promised they would send someone out to provide some nitrogen (fertilizer) for the lawn. I was at home when their guy came with a cheap hand-held spreader (very unprofessional). He walked around the yard in no specific pattern. As I watched him, he seemed to cover the same area several times and totally avoided other areas. He did get some on some annuals that I had planted and they ended up burning. Totally killed them. Just before he left the back yard, he looked into the fertilizer spreader and seeing there was a some left, he just tossed it onto the lawn in one big pile. Now, I have an area of my lawn that is totally burned from too much fertilizer. Ugh! It was then that I cancelled my service.

I had been with them for three years, paying the same amount each month. When I signed up with them, they provided a one-year contract and then we just continued at the same rate every month. When I cancelled, they became irate and stated that I owned them for the balance of the year. They charged my credit card accordingly, even though the contract had long been satisfied. I protested the charge with my credit card company and I won the protest. He incurred a charge-back.

I'm not sure what happened with this service. Sometimes, services like these start off great and then they just get too comfortable and customer service goes downhill. Maybe that is what happened here. In any event, something went south ... way south.

We had Ranchers do our fence a year ago because our neighbor recommended them. My neighbor had shopped around and he said they had the best bid with higher quality of materials. Our fence install was delayed a day but Luis let me know that morning by email. I'm writing this review because his crew came out to fix my gate last Friday. It has been just under a year since the install and the gate had warped and was not latching. It also was too low to the ground. They did a great job fixing it. I much appreciate Ranchers coming out to take care of our gate.

Absolutely top quality - materials, installation, preparation. The fence is beautiful. It was done with great efficiency and quickness. Exceeds my expectations at a cost much less than other contractors' estimates. Have used Ranchers Fencing's other company for lawn care and have always received prompt responses and solutions to questions or concerns.

Outstanding quality work. Had new fence installed, reasonably priced and completed within a few days of a large yard. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and use them again. Thank you so much, your professionalism shines through!

Ranchers does more than just fencing! I have a landscaping contract with them, and they are wonderful. For a pretty low price, they do a full-service job, including leaf blowing, (and I have TONS of leaves). They are easy to reach by email or phone, and can bill electronically. Highly recommend!

Luis and his crew were on time and did an average job on our fencing project.

During the course of replacing our fence, the crew damaged underground irrigation lines. We now have a sprinkler zone that does not function and Rancher's has been unwilling to resolve. Very disappointed that the company does not stand behind their work and ensure customers are satisfied. We will now spend more money to call an irrigation company to fix an issue that was not present prior to the fencing job.

I would not recommend.

We had our fence replaced by Ranchers (also known as Rancher's Landscaping) and I think they did a great job. There were only a couple minor things I wish they had pointed out. One was that there was a tree in the way that they actually trimmed part of the bark away without asking me first. It will probably be fine, but I feel I should have been consulted. They also scheduled the work to be done during the city bulk pick up so they did not have to pay to haul away. They did not disclose they were doing this, and I feel like they should have. I would have still used their services (they were the best price with good reviews), but that should have been clear, and it was a annoyance to the neighbor that he did not either disclose or pass along that savings in writing. One last thing is there were a couple uneven boards, which which when I pointed out, the guys working quickly replaced.

On the plus side they worked during a wet, unpleasant cold snap. I also thought we had a small sprinkler issue after they were done and Luis and his worker did some trouble shooting. Turns out it was a loose wire that had nothing to do with them. He was generous about problem solving with me.

Agree with previous reviewers that I was happy Luis did not try to up-sell at all. We told him exactly what we were looking for, and he gave us that price with a no-pressure add-on if we wanted slightly better materials.

All in all, I'm happy and would recommend them.

For mythical reasons, my previous 5-star review resides in the filtered wasteland of the abandoned ... nevertheless, I'm so incredibly happy with the work that Luis Alvarez and his tireless crew have accomplished for us in the past 3 years that I'm destined to be heard! (or at least read)

Suffice it to say that these guys (and gal, Reina that is) kick major landscaping ass! Beyond the highly competitive prices and the professionalism that Luis & Co. exude, there's a thoughtful and sincere side to their business practices very rarely seen anymore. Nothing is rushed, and they do things until it's perfect. That's not to say that they stand around pondering their every move... if they do, it's done elsewhere because they're fast and efficient.

Many of us may know what it's like to work our lawns and install gardens & landscaping, perhaps even erect a fence or two... none of it easy. Sure, planting some bulbs and a few annuals seem like a tranquil escape. Where Ranchers Landscaping excel is in the brute strength of moving earth. Need walkways? No problem. Vegetable garden in the back yard? Done. Stonework? They got a guy. New fence? 2 guys knock it out in 2 days (it's incredible to see their precise work move so quickly.) Need trees, shrubs, plants & flowers planted after they've dug out new flower beds? Sure thing. Would you like mulch over everything after it's all done? Done before you even get back home from work!

And the best part for me is I get to email Luis with project ideas for the coming months and he's great about responding in a timely manner with quotes.

I said it in my last review, and I'll say it again... they're services come highly recommended.
