Kinghorn Gardens was founded on the principles of sound horticulture and responsible design. Throughout the years, we have defined what it means to be a full-service landscape company, focusing on client dreams and needs while continually pushing ourselves to grow in our profession.

Professional gardening services range from one-time visits to spring and fall cleanups, as well as regularly scheduled gardening visits. We care for all sizes of gardens from courtyards to large country estates. Need help identifying a plant or a plant health concern? Would you like a recommendation on what tree to plant where? Did you just move into a new home and find that an orientation on what is growing in your garden and how to care for it would be helpful? Our horticulture professionals can meet with you in your garden and help answer your garden and garden care questions.

Our studio is founded on the collaboration of landscape architecture and horticulture. We intentionally share our studio with a team of horticulturists, professional gardeners and craftsmen and are continually collaborating with this interdisciplinary team throughout the design process to leverage their hands-on expertise with the technical precision and creativity of our design team. Our innovation is rooted in the fundamentals of sound horticulture, genuine regard for place, and rigorous attention to materials and how they come together.

Each garden we design is unique to our client and their site. Our intent is that the garden brings you outside by providing pockets of protection and extending the seasons. We believe that garden-making makes us stewards of the environment and we take that role seriously. Our design team will develop an overall plan and vision for your landscape. Over the course of several meetings, we will work with you to develop a design that best accommodates your outdoor living and design style. Masterplans can be for new construction or renovations and range from residential front and/or backyards, commercial spaces, public landscape, and estates.
