Hardscape refers to landscape elements that include patios, decks, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, fences and gates. Various materials such as flagstone, pavers, concrete, wood, rock, gravel and decomposed granite can be used. Gregg Hoffman is one of the most creative and efficient people I have ever worked with. Growing up, Gregg would take backpacking trips through the Sierras with his dad. Those trips were his first real exposure to all of the natural beauty California has to offer. He pursued an education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, receiving a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. After graduation, Gregg returned to work in construction for his brother's general contracting company, Hoffman & Associates. His various responsibilities included framing, masonry, concrete, plumbing, stucco, carpentry and landscaping.
