Avoid furniture placement and traffic on your new floors for a minimum of 24 hours after initial installation. The floor should be cleaned the day after installation to remove manufacturer's markings and residue. Use clean, hot water with manufacturer's recommended cleaner and rinse with clean, hot water. Towel off any remaining water. This process is generally done by the builder with new construction. Furniture and/or appliances will cause indentations in you vinyl floor unless proper rests, glides or casters are used.
