Architectural arts encompasses design, fabrication, and restoration of everything from ornamental plaster, decorative and specialty finishes, to murals and mosaics. Conservation includes research, testing, and analysis of historic materials, and the implementation of preservation treatments for culturally significant or valuable art, architecture, and artifacts. Since 1978, EverGreene Architectural Arts has provided award-winning design and fabrication, conservation and restoration services for many for the world's most significant buildings and objects.
Architectural restoration reverses the effects of aging materials, structural instabilities, and exposure to the environment that inevitably effect many aspects of a building over time. In a combined effort of state-of-the-art technology, artistic design, and traditional craftsmanship, we analyze and recreate historic finishes, stabilize compromised surface, and replicate missing elements to restore an architectural masterpiece to its original beauty. Though much of our work focuses on historic restoration, our finishes experts skillfully combine both traditional and contemporary materials and construction methods, to refine and advance a broad spectrum of restoration techniques.
Architectural and decorative art is an integral part of commercial buildings and places of hospitality. Many of our historic restoration and conservation projects include not only the building itself, but the decorative elements and finishes, such as plaster ornament and painting, murals, mosaics, and other artwork. Our portfolio comprises of a broad range of commercial spaces and their architectural art, ranging from office building and hotel lobbies, historic and contemporary retail spaces, to entertainment venues and outdoor sculpture.
We offer many new design and restoration services for luxurious residences, including new color schemes, custom wallpaper design, plaster ornament sculpting and fabrication, decorative painting, and original murals. Interior designers and private clients are welcomed to schedule consultations and browse our large collection of samples to explore options. Special ordering is available. Wallpaper Reproduction Feature: EverGreene's design, digital reproduction, and preservation work on the historic wallpapers that survived in the Clara Barton House (Washington, DC) was recently featured in the new release of Restoring Your Historic House book by Scott T. Hanson.
