Mayo & Son Painting has been a family owned and operated business since 1997. E.J Mayo created the business in hopes to someday pass on the trade to his sons. The long standing tradition of painting started with E.J ‘s grandfather who was a sign painter, and his father who owned a painting company in Colorado for many years. The trade has been carried on by many, with a brother and brother in laws also owning their own businesses. Starting young, E.J worked for his father's business learning the basics of the trade and in the early 90's, E.J moved to New York and decided he wanted to pursue the dream of having his own business as well.
