We refinish cabinets using a variety of finishs from standard enamels to Lacquer. We can refinish the doors, or have them replaced or refinished with a different style. Often the old casings are better than can be bought from a modern box store, and the general layout is good, so there is no need for major carpentry. We can reconfigure for different layouts of doors, if necessary, or update hardware.
We love doing older estates and plantations that most smaller firms arent equiped to do. We can do complete restorations from plastering the interior to restoring the exterior windows. Marty York started painting in 400 year old Danish plantations in the US. Virgin Islands 25 years ago, and moved back to Richmond in 1991. There are few things in this business that are as satisfying as working on an old estate. Residential painting is the majority of our business. We enjoy working with homeowners, and we do the work as if it were on our own houses.
