White Metal Blast cleans the surface so that it is free of all visible, oil, grease, dirt, dust, mill scale, rust, coating, oxides, corrosion products, and other foreign matter. Commercial Blast Cleaning cleans the surface so it is free of all visible oil, grease, dust, dirt, mill scale, rust, coating, oxides, corrosion products, and other foreign matter, except for staining as noted in the standard.
Sandblasting is a surface preparation done to clean metal products before having them coated. The primary purpose for sandblasting is to clean and prepare the subsurface of the metal part so the coating will adhere to the part. Sand blasting is an integral part of our metal preparation process which also includes sanding and chemical treatment.
