After his military service, founder Ran Shriki moved to Washington to be closer to his father. Ran held a part time job at Biomed Research Company while attending Bellevue Community College and later the University of Washington State Business School. During summer break Ran worked with a local painting company. Ran was not new to painting, he began his painting career as a teenager when his uncle provided him with a job during holidays and summer breaks. Although he came from a financially stable family, it was not easy at times.
