Drake's has the best paint you can purchase. Their prices are very comparable to the other paint stores without all the 40-50% off sales. It makes sense-honest, experienced, local business. The entire staff is highly experienced. They're not just selling the products, they believe in them and they use them, too. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable the Drake's team was and how much they went out of their way advising me. I returned the paint I had purchased from a competitor and bought all of my stain and paint from Drake's, instead.
Deciding on a color can be a challenge when you are trying to match to textiles, painting a small room or making sure the color works during all types of light streaming in your windows. The customer service you receive from Drakes paint is refreshing! It's the small town hospitality that is very seldom found these days! That do all of the little things that makes the customer their number one focus! I was recently just talked out of the more expensive paint brush and talked into the less expensive one because he felt that the job I was describing did not warrant such a nice paintbrush. That showed me that they were more interested in a happy customer in a larger sale!!
