I offer this as a warning to anyone who is considering hiring Wright. Beware. Calvin Wright is a fraud. I contracted Wright Home Services (owner - Garland “Calvin” Wright) to renovate my home. Wright claimed to be a qualified licensed contractor. This is not the case. The owner Garland “Calvin” Wright is a liar, thief, and fraud. I hired Calvin Wright to renovate my home. He took my $85,000 in deposit and disappeared. I filed suit and received a judgement and am now pursuing his assets. I and 2 others he defrauded at same time filed complaint with Beaufort County Sheriff. I am pleased to report that Calvin Wright was arrested twice for his fraud and charged with 6 criminal counts including felony fraud.
Garland Calvin Wright and his front business Wright Home Services is 1. Unlicensed. 2. Calvin Wright Has been arrested for fraud twice in HHI 3. Has multiple judgements awarded against him and his fraudulent business. 4. Has defrauded many across multiple states I had him arrested and sued him to a $628,000 civil judgement.
