I worked in and around the Utility engineering and construction industry beginning in 1979. I moved to Bradenton in 1982 to build what was then a Group W Cable system. I also began working with FPL and was offered a 5 year apprenticeship to train with their engineers. When work was slow, my partner and I began buying and remodleing houses. We worked with framers, electricians and plumbers to learn the work we could help with and not infringe on their trades. I also started a Kitchen and Bath remodeling company in 2002 which I ran for 3 years.
