We at Rick's Decorating Service were established as a business for handymen services and painting in Chicago, IL. I first picked up a brush while I was working for a now retired contractor to help pay for engineering college at MSOE in 1983. I starting with painting and progressed into other trades for a one stop shopping contractor. After 7 years working with various contractors, I started Rick's Decorating Service. I used to question why the contractors I worked for would say no to work involving carpentry, electrical, tile and plumbing.
