EcoBuilding Bargains, the Center for EcoTechnology's reuse store, is the largest reclaimed and surplus building materials store in New England. EcoBuilding Bargains accepts donations of quality home improvement materials and sells them to the public at discounted prices. Our customers love the unique style, quality, and value of these reclaimed pieces. We work to help homeowners and contractors prevent perfectly good building materials from going to landfills, and make home improvement more affordable for more people.
EcoBuilding Bargains accepts building materials in good to excellent condition only. Please call (413) 788-6900 before bringing potential donations to us so we can make sure we can use them. Since there is no substitute for actually seeing an item, we may refuse items that we determine we can't use. If we refuse one of your items, please don't take it personally! By now we know which items are needed, and we can't afford to accept other items that we'll need to throw away.
I just recently found this place and it's become my first destination when I need anything for the house! We're dealing with making a 1938 summer house liveable and are managing to do it on a budget thanks, in large part, to EcoBuilding Bargains. It's also given me the motivation to repurpose much of what we've found on the property instead of trashing it.
