Location is great. Basic upgrades with used appliances and old bathrooms. No bathroom for master upstairs for some units. Super hot roof master bedrooms. Maintenance was great at first but lacking lately. Animals pee and poop everywhere. Not enough poop bags and they only have them in one location of the building. Trail across the street is wonderful just wish they also had poop bags. People are nice and all tenants share the cost of water usage.
I have lived here for 6 months and absolutely love it. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly. The location is the best in the city. Being next to the river trail, I can exercise and walk my dog daily. There are so many amenities that I can mention all of them, but fitness center with sauna and indoor dog wash station are by far my favorite. I don't plan on leaving unless I move out of Pittsburgh.
My husband and I have resided at the Heinz Lofts for almost 4 years. We reside in a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment with a rooftop deck that offers a spectacular view of the river and city. I have hosted many dinners on the rooftop deck and have been told the location is "magical".
This is one of those views that has been on my list to capture for quite a while, but until mid December, I had never actually shot it. I always thought "oh, I'll just go there next week" and then the next week would be a string of amazing sunrises and I'd forgot. Well I'm glad I finally made it.
