Kohnen Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. was founded in 1973 by Gerald Kohnen. The business was started as a small one person shop in his parents, Aloys & Minerva Kohnen's basement. The business prided itself on providing personal and friendly service to a growing customer base. The business soon outgrew the boundaries of Gerry's parents basement and found a new home at the small building behind the old hardware center. The business continued to grow and new help was brought in to help meet the demand.

Our service department personnel are some of the most highly trained HVAC professionals in the industry. Each of our techs has a degree from Ranken Technical College in residential and commercial HVACR. Each technician continues to remain updated on the latest and greatest improvements made in the industry.
