We strive to empower residents with the knowledge and skills they need to maintain their homes for sustainable & diverse communities. Home Repair Resource Center is a nonprofit organization based in Cleveland Heights. We offer a variety of programs that encourage responsible home ownership. Our classes for home buyers prepare them to purchase a home and budget for needed repairs. Our hands-on workshops teach do-it-yourself home maintenance. Our consultations for seniors help them identify and prioritize needed repairs. All our programs empower homeowners with the knowledge and skills they need to keep their homes in good condition.

Home Repair Resource Center empowers homeowners to maintain their homes for sustainable and diverse communities. Home Repair Resource Center's mission is accomplished through a creative mix of self-help programs that include financial assistance, education and skills training to enable homeowners — particularly homeowners of low or moderate income — to accomplish repairs on a contracted or do-it-yourself basis. Home Repair Resource Center also addresses its mission through involvement in special projects and community issues that affect the condition and sustainability of our community's older housing.

Home Repair Resource Center is a membership organization. Community residents become members by making an annual contribution. The directors of Home Repair Resource Center are elected by a majority of members voting at the Annual Meeting each year. Every effort is made for the Board to be representative of the neighborhoods and diversity of our community.
