No other home loan or mortgage product offers the types of loans offered by NFC -- that is the NFC Advantage. If you're looking to purchase a home, refinance an existing home while making needed repairs to that home, or apply for a home improvement loan, then NFC has a product for you. For a purchase and refinance loan, the maximum 1st mortgage loan amount is $300,000 (up to 80% loan to value). Loan Committee approval is required for loans over $180,000. For a home improvement loan, the maximum mortgage loan amount is $180,000 (up to 95% loan to value).

Do you currently own a home in an NFC lending area and would like make some needed repairs or renovations to your home? NFC offers some of the area's most competitive fixed-interest rates for home improvement loans through a NFC Advantage Loan. NFC has a Refinance Loan Program if you are interested in refinancing your current mortgage and completing home repairs. Your mortgage loan originator can discuss both options with you during the loan application process. Our program is intended to improve neighborhoods and increase owner occupied home ownership; therefore, you must occupy the property.

Loans through NFC's Front Porch Program are available to homeowners in NFC lending areas seeking repairs to the exterior of their homes. The APR for a 2% loan is 2.574%. The APR for a 4% loan is 4.596%. The APR is based on the maximum loan term of 10 years, fully amortizing, and a maximum loan amount of $25,000. The Front Porch Loan Program includes a forgivable loan up to $10,000 for home improvements to be used with NFC repayable financing.

The following financial institutions invest in our loans through pool participations and provide money that is used for property repair and closing cost subsidies. Government sponsored entities buy whole loans from us.
