Invisible Structures started in a garage in Aurora, Colorado in 1982 with a daring dream of replacing certain concrete and asphalt applications to grass paving. Since then, we have changed the world's landscape with by far the most installations of grass and gravel pavers worldwide. We pioneered the initiative to use 100% recycled plastic in all of our products, back when we had to source our own plastic and grind it ourselves. Now, with the advancement and collective international interest in recycled plastics, we are able to source lab-tested materials, guaranteed in quality and durability.

This slope had been designed for a concrete block with cable system to stabilize the slope and resist periodic flooding controlled by dams upstream. The client wanted the beauty of a grass reinforced slope to complement the large grass areas between their corporate offices and the river. Installation of Slopetame2 came in at one third the cost of the concrete system, encouraging the Contractor to be able to replace the total area twice if lost to floods, at the same cost. Existing soils consisted mostly of construction debris.

The invention of each product came from the desire to address a specific landscape design challenge.

Time is money - we took that into consideration with the design of all of our products. 430 Sq. ft. of our lightweight large rolls of Grasspave2, Gravelpave2, Slopetame3 and Draincore2 can be installed in mere minutes, and can be trimmed with pruning shears. Our Rainstrore3 arrives fully assembled on-site and doesn't require any gravel fill. Strong enough for the heaviest of vehicles and built to last Invisible Structures Inc. products stand the test of time.
