Greetings to everyone on this record setting day in bossier parish , we have had a fair amount of calls today concerning folks heat pumps not working correctly, first things to remember is that a heat pump is a mechanical through a refrigeration process machine to extract heat from the atmosphere. When the mercury falls to near zero there is almost no heat left in the atmosphere. Also when precipitation is falling and a heat pump is running it will drop temp across the coil by around 20 degrees.
