Bought a box spring online 3 days ago (Friday), because they dangle same day delivery in your face if you order before 2pm (I ordered at 11 am) but of course they couldn't make it that day. They told me I would get a call the next day giving me a three hour window of delivery, even though I told them I work graveyard shifts and attend school on that particular day (asked if they could email me, of course they wouldn't) so I missed the call, and ended up getting a call from the driver when he was 15 minutes away on Sunday, when I was having breakfast with my wife - this is where it actually starts to piss me off though. The driver said he'd call back with his game plan for when he'd be back at my house. never called. So I spoke with the store manager, the assistant logistics manager (who also promised to call me back without ever doing it) and I left a message with the main logistics manager. The dumbest part about this whole thing is that after talking with three people it became clear that their delivery schedule is no mystery and they start south and head north. They won't double back obviously, but there was no reason that they couldn't have told me this Friday afternoon, the day I bought the damn thing, so I could just plan to be there in the morning. Overall, it's the fact that these guys keep lying about calling me back, and I can totally see where the drivers get their crappy attitudes from, being that the "managers" conduct themselves in exactly the same way. I just want my damn box spring (cost $300 total with delivery and a mattress cover, but you'd think these guys were giving it to me for free) so I can get my bed set up. So now I'm about to go to sleep after another graveyard shift, just hoping these guys show up today. Oh, did I mention there's a $50 delivery fee? This place is a joke.
