After having a safe and effective Fall board meetings, the Texas Association of Builders has moved its Winter meetings to the Hyatt Regency Austin. This will allow members to continue to conduct association business safety and follow the CDC guidelines. The meetings will be held Feb. 25-26, prior to Rally Day on Feb. 24. TAB will also host a virtual legislative briefing via Zoom on Feb. 18. A complete schedule will be available soon. TAB is dedicated to serving the business needs of Texas home builders, remodelers, developers and affiliated suppliers.

NAHB analysis of Census Construction Spending data shows that total private residential construction spending rose 2.5% in January to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $713 billion, reaching a record high. Total private residential construction spending was 21% higher than a year ago.
