New England grid operator is moving toward more energy efficiency to solve some of it’s problems.
The Sierra Club reports that carbon emissions this year will drop to the lowest levels since 1995. Carbon emissions are also down 18% from 2005 levels. And it’s due mostly to retirement of coal-fired generating plants.
