For nearly 20 years Direct Source has manufactured and installed premium hurricane products throughout the southeast. A graduate of the University of New Orleans with an Engineering Degree, I set my sights early on in the home improvement industry. Direct Source LLC opened its doors in 1992 starting off as a patio and gutter Company. Nearly twenty years later, the company has grown in scope and size and employs over 18 people all skilled in shutters, hurricane impact windows, vinyl siding and overhangs, patio covers, and home renovations, to name a few.

Direct Source offers Prodigy Vinyl Siding (Insulated Siding System). Traditional vinyl siding is no match for the Prodigy Insulated Siding System. Prodigy's 1 1/2 insulation provides industry-best energy savings with a system R-value of 5.0 on clapboard and 5.3 on the Dutch Lap. That is 5 times the energy efficiency of ordinary siding. Prodigy Vinyl Siding is designed to stay securely fastened, with no tearing or rattling, even in extreme winds reaching the intensity of catagory 5 strength. Engineered to be truly maintenance free, Prodigy will never require painting, sealing, staining, cleaning or treating with chemicals that can be toxic or harmful.

Direct Source installs "K" style 5″ and 6″ seamless aluminum gutters with hand mitered or strip mitered corners. We have a wide variety of colors to choose from. Direct Source offers Gutter Shelter gutter protection system which keeps your gutters cleared of leaves and debris in all types of weather. It also helps protect your landscape under your gutters from overflow damage. Gutter Helmet prevents standing water in your gutters so insects will be less likely to breed. Gutter Helmet is capable of handling rainfall of 22 inches an hour, which is twice as hard as it has ever rained in the United States according to the National Weather Services.

Direct Source offers Don Young custom-built, made-to-order windows for home improvement, replacement, and commercial needs. Don Young offers vinyl and aluminum thermally broken windows, patio doors, and storm doors. Their commercial-grade aluminum windows feature a thermal break that separates the inside metal from the outside metal with very high-density catalyzed polyurethane. Don Young calls this engineered design PolyPour. PolyPour windows from Don Young Company fight condensation and have significantly better insulating values than any cheap "builder grade" aluminum window.
