I had been searching for a quality, handmade table when I found the James+James website, and I knew they had exactly what I was looking for! Molly was so kind and helpful when it came to placing my order for the French Country Table and Elizabeth Dining Chairs, and was quick to answer any questions I had before and after. And they would deliver it to my house? YESSSSS! Andrew and Chris just delivered my table this morning, and I could not be any happier! The table is beautiful, and is made with a quality of workmanship that is difficult to find anymore. Friends, this quality is the kind that family heirlooms are made of - I know my kids are going to fight over this table someday. Haha Andrew and Chris were AWESOME guys to work with at delivery! We purchased a dinning room table from James + James, it is absolutely beautiful and everything I expected it to be. The customer service was great as well as the delivery service. If you are looking for a high quality piece of furniture I would highly recommend!
After months of searching, I finally found the custom square table I had been lookin for! The square Shiloh table is the perfect modern farmhouse table. HOWEVER, one must not the number of open knots in the table. The site has a disclaimer that each "each table features unique wood grain, open knots." but I was not prepared for the amount of open knots on my table. My table has about 25 open knots, some of which are about 2 inches wide, and very deep. Looking through the customer gallery with the barn wood finish filter, (and now that I know what open knots look like), you can see a couple of the tables with that stain have 'open knots'. However, before seeing these knots in person, I just thought these were natural dark spots on the wood, not gaping holes. Many of the tables in the customer gallery don't appear to have a single open knot. Mine has about 25, which is disappointing.
