Our owner Floyd was born into the family furniture business. One of 13 children, he started working at Floyd Senior's furniture store in Atascadero at 14 and went on to manage the business, finally opening his own store, Harrington Home Furniture Outlet, in 2004. Floyd Senior (or daddy, as his kids called him) was a furniture expert for over 50 years. He owned several different furniture stores across the Western U.S. Even in his old age, he would come to the store every day. He'd sit in his favorite chair and greet (and on occasion holler at) the customers, many of which he knew by name.
