PG&E's Solar Habitat Program is a partnership between PG&E and Habitat for Humanity® International to fund the full cost of solar electric systems on every Habitat-built home in Northern and Central California. This premier partnership brings solar energy to families with limited incomes, furthering PG&E's commitment to provide affordable, renewable energy in the communities it serves.
The ReStore is a discount home improvement center that sells quality new, and previously owned products, at highly discounted prices. Donated to the ReStore by local individuals and companies. Proceeds from the ReStore go to the funding of construction and re-habilitation of planned homes which the Habitat for Humanity of San Joaquin County construction staff, volunteers and homeowners are building. For close to 5 years, PG&E has been providing clean and efficient solar panels to every new Habitat for Humanity-built home in our service territory - at no cost. This first-of-its-kind partnership brings solar energy to families in underserved communities, extends the resources of our non-profit partners and contributes to a healthier environment for us all.
