Since incorporating in 2000, Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County (Habitat Santa Barbara) has built 22 new homes, now providing shelter for 84 people, including 39 children, completed four affordable housing developments and over 150 home repairs. 2007: Habitat Santa Barbara completed the 3-home Via Lucero Affordable Homes development in Santa Barbara's Hope neighborhood. 2008: The Habitat ReStore in Goleta was opened. The ReStore sells new and salvaged building materials to the public at discounted prices and net revenues contribute to our local Habitat affiliate's administration costs.
