VJM ARCHITECTURE is led by owner Vincent (Jim) Matarazzo Jr. A graduate New Jersey Institute of Technology, Jim has spent the last 32 years designing some of the most unique and exciting homes ever to be built in New Jersey. Prior to becoming an architect Jim had extensive experience as a general contractor building both residential and commercial buildings. VJM Architecture started in 1988 with just a small one-person office. In 1993, Jim moved his office to Far Hills where he coordinated the work of three full time architects while providing his experience and creativity with each and every project.
Jim Matarazzo ran a small remodeling company in 1985 and in 1989 opened VJM Architecture. After years of designing award-winning custom homes and additions, Jim decided to get back into building. Now he offers clients the option of TRUE Design Build! Coastal Design Build, LLC offers competitive pricing on high-end remodeling / addition work as well as custom home construction. Jim is interested in GREEN building and Coastal Design Build sells cork and bamboo flooring. Jim has 3 solar electric systems and uses the latest insulation techniques as well as custom home construction.
