I have dedicated my career to architectural design and residential remodeling since 1979, bringing over 45 years of hands-on experience to every project. My journey began in the construction industry, working in a lumber yard during my youth, which provided foundational insights into building materials and processes. After graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Architecture in 1968, I worked as a carpenter and contractor, gaining practical knowledge that informs my approach to design. As a licensed architect in Texas since 1979, I specialize in residential remodels, additions, and Auxiliary Dwelling Units (ADUs), focusing on practical, buildable solutions that align with client budgets. My process emphasizes listening to client needs, conducting on-site assessments, and creating detailed sketches to visualize concepts.
