Pacific Northwest Construction, LLC, of Molalla, Oregon specializes in the design and construction of pole barns and pole buildings, also called post frame buildings. Post frame buildings are composed of primary structural frames typically made up of a clear span truss supported by two columns and supported or connected by purlins (horizontal structures supporting the roof), girts (horizontal structures supporting the walls), and sheathing. Loads are transferred to the ground through columns, either poles or squared-off posts of pressure treated timber, typically embedded in the ground.

We have the tools and expertise to assist with removing all top soil and vegetation from the site and beyond the perimeter of your building dimensions including establishing finish grade elevation to allow for proper surface drainage away from your building.
