Founded in 1999, Gibraltar Chimney's principal owners offer a combined 75 years of knowledge and experience in the areas of industrial chimney and stack construction, inspection, and maintenance.
FPL awarded Gibraltar Chimney International a 5-yr blanket service contract to provide maintenance repairs for the (30) stacks and chimneys at each of the (11) Generating Stations in their Florida system. The contract was awarded to GCI after evaluating capabilities, price, safety and service.
Gibraltar Chimney International offers a full complement of inspection services. We are active contributing members of the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), Fossil Power Committee on Chimney and Stack Assessment and our personnel have been instrumental in formulating numerous Chimney and Stack Inspection Programs for utility companies throughout the United States. We recognize that planned maintenance is considerably more cost-effective than unscheduled maintenance and therefore we concentrate on providing our clients with detailed and comprehensive inspections that will assist them in developing a planned maintenance approach to their chimney/stack maintenance.
