In 1988, John C. (Jack) Mascaro acted upon his vision of what a construction company should be. Through his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to doing it right the first time, he grew Mascaro into one of the largest contracting firms in Western Pennsylvania. In 2008, he became Chairman of the company, handing day-to-day operations to his sons. Throughout this time, Jack remained involved in the company keeping in touch with past and prospective clients, participating in interviews, and offering his perspective on company operations until his passing in July 2020.
