An alternative to the traditional process of broadcasting or sowing dry seed, Hydro-seeding is a planting process which utilizes a slurry of seed and mulch. The slurry is mixed and transported in our own Hydroseeder and sprayed over prepared ground with the tank-mounted nozzel or extended with 300 feet of hose to access the hard-to-reach places. Bruce Howard Contracting was one of the first certified installers of ‘Flexterra' erosion control media for our hydro-seeding applications in Virginia.
