Thomas Construction Group provides comprehensive project evaluation through efficient preconstruction services, detailed estimating, and precise value-engineering. Although we are competitive on hard bid and invited bids, Thomas' preferred methods of project delivery are Design/Build and Construction Management at Risk (CM@R). Unlike a traditional Design-Bid-Build method, our approach to project delivery establishes the contractor component during the design phase. Essentially, all parties collaborate as partners, trusting in each other's strengths to reach common objectives.

As an extension of Thomas' Preconstruction Services, we provide a proprietary TVD project approach. Our process recognizes the direct and immediate correlation between design and cost. Accurate estimating starts with a commitment to quantify and analyze every detail from the preliminary program and schematic design phase of the project. We listen to our clients, then provide a conceptual estimate based on building components, anticipated systems, cost history, and factors for regional market conditions.

Integrated with Estimating, our TIMBERLINE platform allows a seamless transition from preconstruction to construction. We track the buyout, commitments, job cost to date, and forecast at completion. Specialized reports allow project management to conduct detailed cost analyses, track RFIs, and maintain shop drawings. ALL personnel are responsible for planning safety into each work task and for controlling conditions or actions that could lead to occupational injuries or illness. We have established rules and programs designed to promote safety and health; we make the established rules and programs known to all employees through our Safety Orientation; and impress upon all employees the responsibility and accountability of every individual to maintain a safe and healthful workplace.
