In business since 1976, Coward-Hund Construction Group provides Commercial General Contracting services to clients in and around the Charleston, South Carolina area. The firm has extensive experience and knowledge of construction around the often-challenging Lowcountry area. Specific project experience is diversified including manufacturing, industrial, distribution, commercial, and insititutional facilities. Many of our projects are delivered under design-build contracts with fast-track schedules.

Coward-Hund has specialized in design-build construction since its formation in 1976. Through select partnering with local architects and engineers, Coward-Hund has delivered hundreds of construction projects through the design-build contracting method. Once a client's specific needs are determined, Coward-Hund meets with the design team to produce a conceptual project layout. This layout is then fine tuned through further design meetings with the client. After clearly defining the project's scope of work through the conceptual design phase, the design team completes the construction documents to a level required for permitting.
