Services
Soil Nail Walls
Our soil nail walls provide permanent slope stabilization through threaded bar or hollow-system steel elements grouted into pre-drilled holes. This technique reinforces unstable natural slopes or allows safe over-steeping of new slopes. We combine rigid shotcrete facings with erosion control fabrics to create durable, erosion-resistant systems that maintain structural integrity in challenging terrain.
Micropiles
We install micropiles for deep foundation support in restricted access areas, using drilled and grouted steel reinforcement to develop high-compression and tension capacities. These small-diameter piles (under 12 inches) effectively penetrate weak soil layers while minimizing ground vibration. Our systems accommodate lateral loads through strategic casing placement, making them ideal for foundation support adjacent to sensitive structures.
Helical Piers
Our helical pier systems use circular steel plates welded to square bars or pipes to create deep foundation solutions without requiring grouting. This low-noise installation method allows immediate load application, with capacity developed through helix-bearing strata interaction. We design systems that overcome installation challenges in cobbles and variable soil conditions while maintaining rapid deployment capabilities.
Landslide Stabilization
We stabilize landslides through patterned ground anchors, soil nail walls, and micropile shear systems that increase slope safety factors beyond 1.0. Our approach combines site-specific analysis with borings and inclinometers to develop tailored mitigation plans. We implement tieback anchors and reinforcement systems that resist movement forces while accommodating site-specific constraints like water proximity.
Tieback Anchors
Our tieback anchor systems provide shoring support through bonded and unbonded zones that transfer loads to stable ground strata. Using tremie grouting in rock and post-grouting in soil, we create high-capacity anchors for soldier pile walls and landslide stabilization. These systems resist uplift forces for structures like bridges and towers while maintaining adjustability for varying subsurface conditions.
