Since 1968, general contractors, developers, large scale commercial entities and engineers have relied on Dykes Paving for new construction projects and pavement installations. Likewise, property managers and maintenance staff count on our quality rehabilitation services, including asphalt reconstruction (asphalt milling, resurfacing, etc.) and asphalt repair (patching, asphalt overlay, etc.), to help maintain and raise property values. Today, Dykes is a key source for recycled construction products (stone, asphalt and aggregate) for use in green build programs, such as LEED.

Founded in 1968 by Jim Dykes, Dykes Paving & Construction Company, Inc. now includes a paving, a materials, and a recycling division and has become one of the most highly regarded companies in the asphalt construction & recycling business. Large scale commercial entities, general contractors, developers and engineers rely on us for new construction projects - especially those requiring LEED certification. Property managers and maintenance staff count on our quality rehabilitation services to help them maintain and raise the value of their properties.

Dykes Paving brings nearly half a century of knowledge and continual innovation to today's complex new construction projects. Because we have such extensive experience and direct access to our own materials, we can provide you with paving solutions to suit new construction projects of any size or scope. If you have an Atlanta paving job, we have the resources to get it done in a timely and efficient manner. We have four base crews, two paving crews, seventy people on staff, and multiple asphalt manufacturing and stone crushing facilities.

Dykes recycling services give old and waste construction material new life in new construction and rehabilitation projects. If your building plans include demolition as well as new construction, we can help you save money, reduce - or even eliminate - waste and achieve LEED credits for sustainable development. We divert all inbound asphalt, concrete and granite from the waste stream, and never landfill any paving materials. Our aggregate crushing and processing equipment is so efficient that property owners and construction professionals find it cheaper to transport their materials to us, rather than work with a portable unit.

Dykes Paving is all about self sufficiency, and we keep our costs down by becoming the source rather than going to a source who may or may not have exactly what we want at a price that we are willing to pay. We are a leading distributor of concrete sand for Atlanta paving purposes, and of course when you contract us to do your paving, we can pass the savings along to you. We operate our own sand mine on Huber Road in Macon, Georgia. It is certified by the Georgia Department of Transportation as a natural sand source, providing #10 natural sand for ready-mix concrete (GA DOT Source #230F).

Dykes Paving is one of the leading paving companies in Atlanta, and we have been the contractor of choice for many of the top engineers, developers, general contractors and large scale commercial concerns here in the metro area since 1968. We have continued to evolve over the years, and we have invented innovations that have redefined the industry, like the Perma Flex hot mix asphalt overlay system, and RTR, our recycled cold mix asphalt solution. We offer a comprehensive slate of paving services, and we feel as though our mission can be described with one simple word: results.

Asphalt Repair i.e. Fixing pavement cracks and holes does more than improve the appearance of your site. It reduces safety hazards and helps maintain - or increase - property value. Dykes Paving has the equipment, expertise, and manpower that it takes to handle all Atlanta asphalt resurfacing and rehabilitation jobs. In addition to an upgraded appearance and a safer environment, a resurfacing job also makes it more pleasant to get around the site without bumping and bouncing around both you and anything that you may be hauling, and it makes things easier on the vehicles themselves.

What's new?

A shout out to Northwestern Inc. The people we are crushing for on 75. Our flag was damaged in a storm a week ago and they just bought and sent me another one to replace it. It's uplifting to know that there are companies that a tattered flag still bothers.

Gotta give a plug for Yancey Caterpillar. When your crushing plant is down with a bad radiator, and you're under the gun to process material on I-75 for the largest highway project in Atlanta right now, it's great to see everyone go into overdrive. New CAT radiator delivered from Peoria, Illinois in less than 12 hours. Did it cost me? Hell yes, but they made it happen. Team CAT!!
