Sheffield Construction

At Sheffield Construction, we approach home building as a deeply personal journey rooted in relationship-building and meticulous attention to detail. Our process begins with understanding your unique lifestyle needs through our Life at Home consultation, ensuring every design decision reflects your vision for how you want to live today and in the future. With decades of combined experience in architectural history and hands-on construction, Skip Sheffield personally oversees each project, applying historical design principles to create homes that balance aesthetic beauty with functional excellence. Our commitment to transparency is demonstrated through real-time online project tracking and a rigorous due diligence process that aligns budgets with aspirations from the very first meeting. We specialize in Universal Design principles, crafting spaces that adapt seamlessly to changing family dynamics and accessibility needs while maintaining striking visual appeal.

Our team of skilled craftsmen adheres to strict quality control standards throughout construction, ensuring every finished home represents both a sound investment and a lasting legacy. From custom residences to renovations and ancillary structures, we transform conceptual ideas into tangible realities through collaborative dialogue and technical expertise. Our Tallahassee-based team combines local market knowledge with national design standards to deliver homes that exceed expectations in both form and function. We measure success not just by completed projects, but by the enduring relationships we build with clients who become lifelong friends. This philosophy has established us as a trusted leader in creating homes that are not just built to last, but built to live in fully.
