It is our belief that much of one's well-being is derived from the their immediate surroundings and the spaces they inhabit, and the feelings and energy those surroundings evoke. Founded in 2005 by Gavin McKenzie, McKenzie began as a small, self performing residential general contracting firm. The vision was to create a team of like-minded individuals, who were passionate about both the art and science of building and creating, and improving others' lives with a sustainable and progressive approach.
McKenzie is a boutique design, build and custom fabrication firm providing high-quality services to South Florida commercial and residential clients. Our community-focused company offers services in architecture and design, general contracting, and custom fabrication including millwork, metalwork, and architectural concrete. In-house expertise in these three major categories-Design, Build, and Craft-creates way for vertical integration as well as unique insight and foresight into the construction process.
