Not only were we one of the companies involved in the original construction of downtown, we have recently been at the heart of the renovation of Chattanooga as well! Yerbey Concrete was founded as a commercial concrete finishing company in 1950 by BH Yerbey with just one employee, a panel truck and a wheelbarrow and started growing from there. By the mid 1960's we were running around 100 employees from Chattanooga, TN all the way to cities like Rome, Georgia, Huntsville, Alabama and Murphy, North Carolina. In the late 1960's BH saw an opportunity in the market and we expanded to a ready mix concrete business and kept it going until 1995 when he sold the project off to continue focus on the construction side of the business.
