At Cannon & Cannon, we provide the services that create the civil engineering "canvas" of our community. Todays challenges require a creative approach to both engineering and field surveying as a community strives to paint the perfect picture. From the initial due diligence through construction inspection, our extensive experience in working with local, state, and federal agencies allows us a unique perspective for keeping your project on track. That's what we mean when we say "Enhancing Community Life By Design."

Cannon & Cannon, Incorporated was founded in January 1996 by Angela Y. "Angie" Cannon and W. Harold Cannon, Jr., P.E. to provide General Civil & Environmental Engineering Services. In July 1997, Field Surveying was added to the firm's available services and included fully staffed field crews equipped to undertake Boundary, Topographic, Route, ALTA and Construction Layout Surveys. Cannon & Cannon is celebrating its twenty-third year of providing Consulting Engineering and Field Surveying Services to various public, private and industrial clients in the Southeastern Region.

Electric Utilities are the central nervous system of our community's infrastructure and the Consulting Engineers and Field Surveyors at Cannon & Cannon deploy a full suite of smart solutions to keep the power moving. Our services range from large projects including Transmission & Distribution Design, System Planning & Evaluation, Roadway/Site Lighting and DOT Utility Coordination to site-specific solutions including Marina Electrical/Lighting Design and Backup Generation. In addition, Cannon & Cannon is equipped to complete Construction Administration Services on any electric utility project we manage.

When a new project walks through the front door of Cannon & Cannon, few are received with more enthusiasm than Residential Site Development Projects. Because most of the Consulting Engineers and site development experts who work at Cannon & Cannon live in subdivisions they didn't design, and they know exactly what they would do differently. Our expert team of imaginative Engineers specializes in comfortable, efficient and affordable residential design solutions. Our project experience ranges from high-density development to small cluster and single-family homes.

Topographic surveys allow two-dimensional drawings to depict three-dimensional spaces. These surveys are most commonly used in the planning stages of projects to help design the layout and location of buildings, roads, utility lines and landscaping elements. Any project with critical elevation changes requires, and benefits from, an accurate topographic survey. The experienced team of professional Surveyors at Cannon & Cannon acts as the eyes of our Consulting Engineering team for projects throughout Tennessee and Kentucky.

A complete boundary survey is a critical first step in any development or real estate purchase. Understanding where property lines are located is important to homeowners, but it is absolutely essential to business owners and commercial property developers where small mistakes can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars or more. Our expert team of experienced Field Surveyors utilizes state of the art equipment and techniques to deliver accurate boundary surveys to our clients in Tennessee and Kentucky.

Cannon & Cannon provides complete Construction Phase Services for our clients. Our experienced and knowledgeable Consulting Engineering and Field Surveying staff specializes in rigorous and thorough Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI). Cannon & Cannon operates a full-time field management team for all Construction Phase Services in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is staffed to provide services that cover Eastern, Middle and West Tennessee as well as Southern Kentucky. Cannon & Cannon provides CEI Services in general accordance with TDOT Local Program Guidelines.

Safe, dependable water utilities are the life-blood of communities. In fact, the delivery of water useable for drinking, washing and irrigation may be the most important public service organized civilizations provide. With its unique and variable set of properties, water regulates Earth's climate, transports nutrients, conveys people and products, and creates a biosphere for countless organisms. All of this, plus much more, from the combination of two simple elements: oxygen and hydrogen. Understanding and respecting the value of water is important to Cannon & Cannon.
