St. Louis, MO Ben Hur was contracted to fabricate and erect the structural steel support for a solar canopy on top of an existing precast parking structure on the BJC Campus in St. Louis, MO. The project consisted of 400 tons of galvanized structural steel, and installation of light gauge Super Purlins, which supported 4547 solar panels provided by our customer for the project, Day and Night Solar. Lightweight specialized hoisting equipment was required due to limited site conditions and load capacities of the garage.

Ben Hur will deliver the project within a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) or a Lump Sum (LS). We will act as a consultant to the owner for the development and design phases of the project, and as the equivalent of the general contractor during the construction phase. Ben Hur will be responsible exclusively to the owner and act in the owner's interest for the duration of the project.
