Founded by an Architect and a Building Contractor in 1962, Janotta & Herner has embodied true Design Build Construction from the beginning. To us, Design Build Construction is more than just a building system, but a single source solution for all of your construction needs. We combine an exceptional team of Project Managers and Skilled Tradesmen with our in-house Design Studio, consisting of Architects, Engineers and Design Professionals, allowing us to create a comprehensive approach to building.

Our mission is simply to be the BEST Design/Build Construction Company. We are driven in this pursuit to continuously improve and expand our services to enhance our Client's construction experience, improve the quality of our trade crafts, increase the durability of and lower the lifecycle cost of facilities to save our Clients time and money. At Janotta & Herner, Design/Build Construction is more than just a project delivery system. We embody the true Design/Build concept by having a Corporate Design Department, complete with Architects, Engineers and Designers. Aided by the latest design and CAD technologies, our Design Staff is able to meet with our Clients and conceptualize their ideas to produce construction documents and renderings. Our vast experience in structural design allows us to value engineer almost every project, providing our Clients with a product that meets their needs and their budget.

Janotta & Herner is a true Design/Build Construction company because we are one of the only companies in the area that offers a Corporate Design Department. Complete with Architects, Engineers and Design Professionals, this department is a major asset to our building process. In just a few meetings, we can take a Client's vision and turn it into a permit ready design, complete with floor plans, renderings and even virtual walk-throughs. This includes the steel fabrication capabilities of Firelands Fabrication, located in New London, Ohio. From industrial access platforms to complete conventional steel buildings, Firelands Fabrication is capable of producing almost every steel component required for your construction project. Firelands' steel fabricating capabilities vertically integrate with Janotta & Herner, creating a multitude of efficiencies in our building process.
